Dr. Klaus Schöffel, Vice President, Technology

Klaus Schöffel holds a Dr. degree in theoretical chemistry from the Freie University Berlin. He has over 15 years experience in industrial R&D within catalysis and new energy technologies from the Norwegian oil & gas company Hydro as chief-scientist and research director. He worked two years as Vice President Corporate Energy in pulp & paper company Norske Skog and managing director of its biofuel subsidiary Xynergo AS. During summer 2009 he joined Gassnova SF, the Norwegian state enterprise for Carbon, Capture and Storage, as Vice President Technology.
