GLOBAL CARBON CAPTURE, UTILIZATION & STORAGE SUMMIT 2010 The Road to Deployment 17-19 August 2010|Shanghai, China
Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to announce that the Carbon Capture, Utilization & Storage Summit 2010(Global CCUS Summit 2010) will be held on 17-19 August 2010
in Shanghai, China.
Global CCUS Summit 2010 is the first ever forum in Asia featuring large scale deployment of CCUS globally, initiated by Asian Coalition for Climate and Energy (ACCE). Global CCUS Summit 2010 will be a solid step to deployment of CCUS in the world. It aims to facilitate the most important aspects of the development and deployment of CCUS technology-sharing of information and best practices, so that industrial scale CCUS can be realized by 2020.
Considerable reduction in CO2 emissions is essential, to uphold a sustainable growth. Carbon Capture, Utilization & Storage (CCUS) is one of the major answers to excess CO2. A full-scale end-to-end CCUS chain does not yet exist, though we have a number of ongoing CCUS-related projects worldwide today. Therefore, it is an industrial call for filling knowledge gaps and investigating concerned issues when developing a fully integrated CCUS system. “Working together, we can accomplish more than acting alone.” said U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu.
We are honored to welcome you to Join the road of deployment at Carbon Capture, Utilization & Storage Summit 2010, on 17-19 August in Shanghai.
